Archangel Raphael Tarot or Oracle Spread | Angels Among Us Oracle

Archangel Raphael is the angel of healing.

I had a really vivid experience with Raphael when I first started working with angels. I had a really bad cold and felt like total poop. I called on Archangel Raphael to heal me and I felt this breeze across my body! I asked him to heal me from my cold and he said that’s not really how it works, Vix.

So while Archangel Raphael didn’t take away my cold, he did give me some advice and guidance on other things that were going on in my life that also needed healing.

We often think of “healing” in a physical sense, and while it’s always a good idea to call on Archangel Raphael for physical healing (although please always seek professional medical advice), that’s not the only kind of healing he can support you with.

Archangel Raphael can support you with healing your mind, heart, spirit, energy, chakras, or anything going on in your aura or in your life. He can help you heal relationships, blocks, karma or just about anything that needs “healing.”

During a meditation I asked Archangel Raphael to come in and send me some energy healing. He appeared to me as a young man dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt. I was a little shook by that, as he really didn’t look “angelic” at all. When I asked him, he just told me that angels don’t really have a form, so they can appear to us in whatever way we can best connect with them.

The longer I worked with angels, the more they turned up looking more like friends than angelic beings of light, and it really did help me connect so much deeper with them.

The way me and Ellie Grant depicted Archangel Raphael in the Angels Among Us Oracle is just like he appeared to me that day - as a regular guy in jeans and a white tee. This doesn’t make him any less powerful or less angelic though!

Just like it doesn’t make you any less angelic to be in your human suit!

If you are in need of some of Archangel Raphael’s healing in any area, I hope this spread supports you.

Archangel Michael Tarot or Oracle Spread | Angels Among Us Oracle

Archangel Michael was the first angel I ever worked with.

So many of us start out on the spiritual journey feeling a little… hesitant.

When we start connecting with spirit and energy in a new and deeper way and it can feel overwhelming, even unsafe at times. We see weird shiz we can’t explain, or we feel like we are suddenly all alone in the world and no one gets us.

Archangel Michael is the perfect ally for anyone starting on their spiritual adventures. He steps in like a spiritual bodyguard.

When we call on him for protection, there is often an instant calm, a trust, a peace that comes over us.

And hey, if there’s not that feeling the first time, keep calling him in and asking for his protection, guidance and courage until you do feel it!

He holds the space for us so we can safely step ahead on our path. He can help us to cut energetic cords with people and situations that are no longer right for us.

He clears away negativity with his sword of light, giving us more clarity on our path and purpose.

Archangel Michael can also help with throat chakra clearing, healing and activation, helping us to speak our truth and live our truth.

Although he is usually depicted as a warrior in robes, armour or as a Fabio type character, the Archangel Michael in the Angels Among Us Oracle looks a little different.

Just like all the beings of light in this deck, Ellie Grant and I brought Archangel Michael into the here and now to help you think of him as a friend who has your back and to help you connect with him on a personal level.

Beverly Hills 90210 Tarot or Oracle Spread

Recently I have been doing a lot of self-healing and integrating.

This has involved the usual meditation, tarot, yoga etc., but also lots of soy milk and vegan cookies and copious amounts of Beverly Hills 90210.

There is something about nostalgia, about watching your old faves that is so comforting. It takes you back to an easier time (although at the time I thought nothing would be tougher than being a teen in the 90s!).

You can forget the pandemic, forget being an adult and for forty-five minutes and all you have to worry about is if Brenda and Dylan are going to make it.

Back in the day I was always team Brandon, although since I’ve been re-watching I’m kind of realising that David was actually really cool.

David Silver was a hipster before hipsters.

It’s weird how all the girls think he’s a total doofus. He’s basically the school DJ, has killer dance moves, doesn’t really care what people think of him, and although it’s a bit much in season one when he’s always creeping around Kelly, he’s kind of adorable! And so much more of a catch than super problematic Steve Sanders, ick!

Dirty Dancing Tarot or Oracle Spread

Was there ever a more iconic movie than Dirty Dancing?

No matter how many times I watch this movie, I still fall in love with Johnny Castle, wish I had Baby’s hair and wardrobe (and trawl through Etsy trying to find dupes), I always try to teach myself the final dance and dream about spending a vacation at Kellerman’s (although, not really, because it’s kind of toxic, actually, amiright?).

There are so many powerful themes in this movie - being yourself, believing in yourself, standing in your truth, believing in and standing by someone you love.

Cobra Kai Tarot Spread

I only have two words:

Johnny Lawrence.

Never in Netflix history has their been a more loveable loser than Johnny Lawrence.

Every episode of Cobra Kai Johnny somehow manages to make an absolute mess of everything (even though he’s trying really hard actually) and all you want to do is keep binging and hoping that one day he gets his shiz together and becomes the man we all know he can be.

If you’re not familiar with Cobra Kai (and I highly recommend you do get familiar!), it’s the spin off series of Karate Kid and follows the mid-life adventures of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence as they both try to relive (and perhaps even redeem) their own youth by opening up karate schools.

Happy Mars Retrograde! :D

Mars went retrograde on the 9th of September 2020 and won’t be going direct until November 13 2020, so we have quite a while to work with this sometimes challenging season.

Like with all these retrogrades we always have the choice between losing our shiz over it and buying into the whole “all the bad things will happen” view…

Or, we can choose to work with these retrogrades and challenging cycles rather than against them.

Mars is known as the planet of fire and war, so it won’t be a surprise that people may be a little more fiery and quick to anger than usual. People in your life might be looking for a fight.

This album gives me all the feels, and as we head into Autumn here in the UK after a summer of lockdowns and social distancing, I know this is going to be on repeat in my office for a while to come!
